Fans are speculating that Christina Ricci’s character, Ms. Thornhill, could make a possible return in season two of Wednesday. While her ambitions weren’t quite successful in season one, there’s always a chance that she could come back to cause more trouble in Nevermore.

As it turns out, Ms. Thornhill was in cahoots with the Hyde (aka Tyler) and was out to get the outcasts. Although she was ultimately defeated by Eugene’s angry bees and a swift kick to the face from Wednesday, anything is possible in the kooky and spooky world of Nevermore.

In fact, in a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet for Yellowjackets season two, Christina Ricci herself was asked about the potential of returning to the show, and she said she’s totally down for it if given the chance. We can’t wait to see what kind of chaos Ms. Thornhill might bring to season two!

“I don’t think I’m allowed to say,” she expressed, continuing: “On my end, the door is open. She [Marilyn] was so fun to play! It’s always so fun to play a villain.”

Fans are eagerly anticipating the return of Wednesday, and there’s speculation that Gwendoline Christie’s character, Larissa Weems, could make a comeback. “We haven’t really spoken about direction at all, so I don’t really know what the game plan is for anything,” Myers added. 

Fans have been shipping Enid and Wednesday since the first season of the show, but Emma Myers has different hopes for her character in season two. In a recent interview, Myers shared that she thinks Wednesday needs to take a break from love interests for a little while.

“After everything she went through with her men in season one, I feel like at least for a second season, she needs to take her season of singleness,” Myers explained. “I mean, I would be deterred from dating anybody if I had gone through that!”

It’s definitely a good point, and it will be interesting to see where Wednesday’s love life goes in the next season. But regardless of whether she finds romance or not, we’re sure that Myers will continue to bring her A-game to the role of Enid Sinclair. “I do think he escaped at the end,” Doohan said excitedly. “When I read that on the page, I was so thrilled. I was like: ‘Come on, don’t be dead, don’t be dead.'”

As for which version of Tyler we might see in season two – good or bad – Doohan’s remarks about his character’s arc in season one might shed some light. “I think he was being controlled by Miss Thornhill,” he said. “Then he had to go manipulate Wednesday to carry out their plan, and I think he did a pretty good job with it.”
