Places To Visit In Dharamsala
1. Tsuglagkhang Complex
This is a religious center and of particular interest to the Buddhists who come here to learn more about the religion via the teachings of the Dalai Lama. His Holiness, the Dalai Lama also takes up residence here when in India. The complex centers around the paraphernalia relating to Tibetan culture and its spirituality.
2. Kareri Dal Lake
The lake is situated at a distance of 11 km from Lower Dharamshala and is a wonder to behold. Regarded to be one among the many picturesque locales in the hill station, the tourists are not scared of trekking up to the banks of this exceedingly beautiful lake. Named for the Dal Lake in Kashmir, the waters here as clear as crystal as well!
3. Bhagsunag Temple
A quaint temple nestling amidst greenery and a tiny pool happens to be a must-visit temple for the tourists as well as the local population. The small temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva who is believed to have prevailed at this place in the form of Bhagsu Nath. 4. Kangra Fort

It lies 32 km away from Kangra and is a popular archeological site that has millions of tourists coming to have a look at the wonderful carvings of the bygone era. The relics have revealed the date of construction to be sometime in the 8th century A.D.
6. St John in the Wilderness Church
This is one of the most popular church in Himachal Pradesh and located between Dharamsala and Mcleodganj. It is an Anglican Church named after John, the Baptist. It had been constructed in 1852 to help the British soldiers posted here attain the services of the Church. There a number of memorial stones in the premises to honor those who had died in the area.
7. Trekking
