1. Nainital Lake
Also known as Naini Lake, Nainital lake is an enchanting natural water body snuggled amidst seven mountains touching the sky. It is the most popular attraction of the city with ravishing lake displaying its beauty with pristine, scintillating and stagnant water.
2. Naina Peak
At a height of 2611 metres, Naina peak is the highest peak bordering the Naini lake. It is five kilometres away from the lake and is a famous picnic spot and offers a panoramic view of the resort and an astounding view of the Himalayas.
3. Tiffin Top
Tiffin top, also known as Dorothy’s seat is situated at 4km hike from Nainital at a height of 7535 ft. It commands a great view of the neighbouring country side as well as Himalayas. Dorothy’s seat is a stonework picnic perch on Tiffin top built in the memory of a British Army Officer’s wife, Dorothy Kellet.
4. Snow View Point
Situated at 2270 metres from the sea level, this famous vantage point offers a great view of the northern Himalayan Ranges. You can reach there by cable car (ropeway) or you can hire horses and mountain ponies.
